Anthropomorphic shapes and characteristics are often present if we just stop, look, and pay attention.
Edward Hopper often recognized them and focused in on it in his work.
But can we get others to see it too? I sometimes wonder since most comments or recognition, here on the blog and elsewhere, usually comes only from other artists and not from the general population.
It's there. I love it when I see the things you later write about! Jagged edges are so very beautiful! Dramatic and exciting! Love you mentioning the more you paint these objects the more things you see in them! I also notice the same when ever I paint any subject over and over again! I find that so interesting and exciting! I always wonder why I hadn't noticed so much I missed the first time around!
Anyway David I am always so very happy to visit your blog and see your wonderful work! I am so happy that you find beauty in subjects that many people wouldn't even dream was there! Bravo buddy!
Hope all is well with you and your beautiful southwest coast!
Michael Making Effort To Catch Up On Blogging Buddy!art by Michael Perchardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06767323223269323935noreply@blogger.com
