Digital Value Study
"Street Corner"
digital, Brushes app
Busy, not a lot to post so here is a was-supposed-to-be-quick digital value study.
More from the Brushes app which is still frustrating me, sometimes with what I can't do, so this one is a little uneven. I am going back and forth between cursing the medium and just trying to get down what I do know how to do. Damn.
I just want to be able to do location studies for paintings. Maybe I'll have to wait for a better app which means a newer iPad. My iPad 1 won't update any further and I can't download much in the way of newer apps.298

Hello Martine,
DeleteThank you! I am happy you too can see the beauty in the ordinary.
Keep painting...
Bonjour Martine,
Merci! Je suis heureux que vous aussi, vous pouvez voir la beauté dans l'ordinaire.
Gardez la peinture ...
Great work David! Looks fantastic! If you didn't write that you used an iPad I never would have guessed it! I too get frustrated with some of the iPad tools! I should probably take a class but learning by doing seems to be the way to go! Hope all is well on your end Buddy! Friends just returned from San Diego! Heat Wave? Hope your weather improves!!!! Take care David!

Hi Michael,
DeleteThank you, yes they are frustrating but I am getting the hang of it slowly. I don't spend enough time on the digital work. I have been looking at youtube videos on digital painting to speed the learning curve.
Yeah, been too hot here, looks like no rain this year... and you NorEasters buried in snow, go figure!
Keep painting...
